This site is a forum to showcase the work of South African authors with independently-published books (meaning they have been self-published or produced in some way independent of a commercial publishing house). All books here are thus sold directly to the public by the author (or the author's agent) - there are no middlemen involved and this site does not take a cut of each sale.

Note that this site is a privately-funded free service for independent authors. Please do not expect Amazon-style functionality, credit card payments and overnight courier delivery of orders ... building that kind of infrastructure is enormously expensive and completely beyond the scope of the one overworked software developer (and wannabee writer) who came up with the idea and developed the concept.
